Demolishing a house was not enough but the truck driver went on to demolish the countryside as well, all in a minute or two. Such actions take hours if not days to clear up again plus a lot of money and the damage is frequently irreversible.

Why is it that wherever you look in the countryside you are sure to see litter around? Aren’t civic amenity sites and free bulky refuse pick up provided by local councils enough? Why do people keep on throwing waste around? Persons caught littering should be told to repay the damage done by cleaning up the whole area instead of being fined.

At present there are some works being carried out on the outer walls of our school. This was very much needed and we are all excited to see how the school will look when all the work is finished. The local council is helping us in this by providing the manpower. Five of us students got together to report about this because we believe it is something very positive and to be celebrated.
