Old metal barrels and broken wood lie abandoned at the edge of the road, slowly rusting into the environment. What seems like “just a corner” becomes a threat to soil, wildlife, and community spaces. Waste left behind doesn’t disappear — it silently contaminates the places we all share.

The scene shows a green space overwhelmed by discarded objects: a rusted ladder, torn fabric, scattered packaging, and debris piled against a living tree. The contrast between thriving foliage and human waste exposes how quickly natural areas can be turned into dumping grounds, harming both the environment and the community.

I believe if everyone does a small part, we can make big changes. I feel sad when I see litter and mess, but I think we can fix our mistakes. One day, hopefully, when someone takes a photo there, we will only see blue sea, green plants and happy people, and no more trash.

Our crops and trees are living things; they are not an experiment. Why do we need chemicals to keep our greens fresh and “safe” when the soil, sun and bees already know how? Without knowing, we are consuming chemicals with every bite. We need fresh, Maltese greens, not toxic lies! Let nature do its job! Let our main habitat grow in honesty, not in a lab, as neither do we! – AI image

The ocean is not an ashtray. It is a living system that regulates climate, supports biodiversity and sustains life on Earth. When we protect it we protect ourselves. The next time you stand by the sea, look down again. What you see is not just sand, but it is a choice. A choice between careless habits and conscious stewardship.

This is how pollution begins. Not with giant disasters, but with everyday habits repeated millions of times by irresponsible people. Each year, trillions of cigarette butts are discarded worldwide. Many end up in coastal areas, where marine animals mistake them for food.
