Leaving thorn clothing, such as; unwanted boots in the wilderness is a form of pollution. Synthetic materials can take years to break down and while they are present, it puts animals in danger of ingesting such material or getting trapped in them.

This cup has been thrown in the road instead of being disposed properly. The double line shows that no one can stop or park here but this cup stopped here for now. Waste not only cause a lot of harm to the environment but also makes the environment look ugly and dirty. Animals that can be found in the countryside such as hedgehogs may end up stuck in this cup and die suffocated.

This iron animal toy is feeling threatened by the brick that is about to fall on his head. This reflects the current situation of infrastructure and construction sites, whereby it is becoming more hazardous. Furthermore, construction destroys the habitats of a large number of animals. Some, feel unsafe and betrayed that their home has been taken, whereas others might find it difficult to survive and adapt to a new habitat.

The beauty of nature on a sunny day is being destroyed by the enormous amount of high buildings built next to each other. This shows that infrastructure is stronger and has more power than nature itself. Natural landscape together with fresh air are not given enough importance.

Leakage – Harmful gases typically produced by humans are being released into the atmosphere causing climate change. Safety -This is making the world unsafe for animals to find shelter and food sources. Function – Industries are responding to these crises by putting pressure to adopt sustainable practices by making use of eco-friendly packaging to reduce plastic waste and carbon footprint (visual)

These overused boots are a great idea for small herb gardens or to grow flowers. They are aesthetically appealing and since they are made out of fabric they help with drainage and air circulation.

The idea behind the orange scrub is to make students aware about the importance or recycling and to combat climate change. Agricultural products such as fruit and vegetables need a large amount of water to grow (and it is good to keep in mind that in Malta there is water shortage), and they also need energy for production and transport, as well as agricultural land. The Machinery as well as the transport, all use some kind of fuel to operate and all this damages the environment. Apart from that, when food rot and is thrown into landfills, its decomposition produces methane, a greenhouse gas that leads to climate change. This project brought together students from different forms who attend the Geography Club to work together and to tie awareness of resource use and recycling to practical solutions for reducing environmental impact. www.facebook.com/share/v/18ndzsnhsy/ https://www.facebook.com/ZejtunSec/videos
