This synthetic rubber tyre is made up of various other materials that do not break down easily. Over time it releases harmful chemicals such as; zinc, lead and cadmium into the soil. Furthermore, it is preventing plants from growing properly and blocking animals from accessing food and shelter.

This cup has been thrown in the road instead of being disposed properly. The double line shows that no one can stop or park here but this cup stopped here for now. Waste not only cause a lot of harm to the environment but also makes the environment look ugly and dirty. Animals that can be found in the countryside such as hedgehogs may end up stuck in this cup and die suffocated.
