So many people have dogs and take them for granted. Here he is waiting on guard ready to greet back his owner. Would a person want to stay there instead especially in the hot summer temperature which become very high inside vehicles? Imagine sitting alone for a long time in such a hot iron box…

Technology hasn’t made communication any better but instead has created barriers between people. People tend to sit around talking to their screens and have many friends on Facebook but have no real friends at all. Instead of speaking with those who love them and care for them they rather prefer to write a post expressing how they feel. Few realize the true meaning of happiness in the company of friends and instead make group chats thinking they are similar. A look around quickly confirms this. People sitting together eyes down, no one talking, they are missing out on laughter and experiences… So put down your phones, open your eyes, look around and don’t miss out on life anymore!

The sedimentary rocks in Malta have very old fossils in them. It is important to protect them, putting up notices not to walk over them or break parts of them to take back home as souvenirs. Dwejra is an example of this.

Malta and Gozo are full of beautiful places, waiting to be explored yet the locals seem unaware of the countless, breath-taking scenic views. It’s a shame that only tourists truly appreciate our one of a kind islands. Why is it that on a coastal walk one only sees foreigners? The locals frequently complain that there is a lack of places to go, when there is a stunning view only a short distance away.

Every person throws away an average of four meals per week. Ironically, this food was thrown away instead of being used for other purposes, such as; feeding animals. A large amount of food is being produced without considering how much of it is being wasted. We should use food wisely in order to reduce waste and care for others.

In Birkirkara among the houses it stood practically one of the few fields in this town, with carob trees. 2017 was the dead sentence to these trees as MEPA approved the permission to this field to be built. These trees were massacred by the machinery to let place for flats and penthouses. The carob tree is noted for living for hundreds of years, surely lived through these years among those people, the day permission was granted, the Carob tree cried for the last time.

For sure this this house, is not camoflage with the surroundings. Walking from Delimara in the beautiful countryside, your attention is drawn on this house with such contrasting colours. The owners are in love with pink but do this colour respect the surroundings? Where is MEPA in such cases for regulation about such colours in the countryside?
