In this supposed natural area in which the wilderness should be the most prominent feature, our attention is drawn to a stranded building with cranes around it which is a sorry sight indeed.

Who is there to help, if all the rubbish depicted in the picture is actually our trash? Will humans work together to reduce pollution and its impact? This picture was taken at Marsaxlokk port portraying some of the trash that could be observed on the sides along the promenade.

In this picture it is clearly visible that this building is collapsing in on itself. It is a pity to leave such dilapidation to occur when it could be taken care of.

Discarded amidst the wilderness, this artefact boldly clashes with greenery surrounding it. Although it must have been beautiful, now it holds no place among the natural aesthetic and is an aching eyesore to anyone who perceives it. This artefact seems to symbolise humanity itself since just as this doll was shunned by others and taken in by nature, us humans as well are protected by mother earth which we keep on exploiting without even considering any consequences.

This is muddy, stone pathway can have a negative effect on the environment and it is clear that it has become unsafe for anyone to go there. We should protect our trees instead of damaging and chopping them down because apart from being beautiful they are good for our health by providing us with oxygen. The environment is clearly very important; therefore we should be taking care of it.

One can see quite a substantial amount of dirt in the middle of a field. The people responsible for this did not bother to deposit these remains in an appropriate landfill/location and this is the result of their negligence

We throw trash away without giving a single thought as to how it’ll affect nature. This is proof of what happens. Seeing such an eyesore is so unnatural in such a potentially beautiful place.

. It is shameful that people can so easily overlook what is being done to the environment.
