The wash hand basin where we was our hands also needs to be washed. The photo shows a dirty sink and asking to be cleaned as well. The sink can produce a lot of germs if left un-cleaned. Simply letting water run down the drain just won’t cut it with germs and bacteria. Besides in the sink one throws a lot of harmful chemicals and cleaners. A proper policy of sink water should be drawn.

Plastic is the most ever-present and multipurpose material ever invented. In fact in the past 100 years no invention had more influence and presence than plastics. But this progress has had its own cost. We have become addicted to plastic. Packaging is the largest contributor to plastic waste. The average European uses and throws away about 200 plastic bags per year after just one use, this meaning 200 yearly opportunities to make a choice towards a better environment thrown into the bin. Considering that plastic bags aren’t biodegradable, but they photodegrade, thus contaminating soil and water and ending up in food webs and that plastic bags take hundreds of years to break down, we must cut down on plastic consumption. If we re-use plastic containers and use cloth bags instead of plastic bags, we will be contributing to this reduction and keeping our soil and water plastic-free.
