My project is about my experience on recycling. I have been recycling for a long time now and today I have noticed that there is a lot of garbage and waste all on the floor, especially that there are little animals that can die with all the plastic being thrown on the floor. These animals can be snails, caterpillars, and plenty of more animals that we should take care of. We should take care if the environment around us and not fill it with garbage like we are doing.

We use so much plastic and a large part of it ends in the sea. Soon we will be eating the plastic itself … if we aren’t already!!

In the aftermath of the stormy weather we had last month, the sea threw back at us what we ourselves had once thrown in the sea, leaving a terrible sight in its wake.

It’s amazing how many so-called educated people think that if something is out of their home then it’s ok to leave it lying around dirtying the area. Nowadays it is so easy to get rid of our trash – simply by making a phone call and the bulky refuse come to collect it for free.

In the first picture you can see a hedgehog that got stuck in a glass jar. It won’t be able to move to find food. In the second picture, the turtle is caught in a plastic bag. Animals get confused and eat plastic because they think it is food. They also get trapped in the litter and get hurt or even die. All living things should be able to live free from pollution and harm from plastic to avoid loss of biodiversity. Litter is causing a long term harm to the environment. Let’s work altogether to make the Earth a healthier and cleaner place for every creature.

This is a picture of someone punching pollution, improper waste disposal etc. The person represents us and what we should be doing. We should be helping to reduce and solve our problems not making them worse.

With the Construction Industry exploding in our country, we are being left only with a mountain of debris and a completely different skyline. What a way to progress!!!

As we already know plastic pollution is everywhere, even in the water! Scientists theorize that by 2040 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish, and if we don’t do anything, our oceans are going to die and become less colourful every year. So what can we do to help? What we can do is recycle trash and be eco-friendly, I think we can defeat this plastic PLAGUE together!

You can either throw or leave the trash on the floor, dirty the environment, ignore it and walk away OR you can choose to pick it up and throw it in the correct bin so that you and other people can enjoy a clean environment. What will your choice be?
