The BCRS collects empty drink containers for recycling. People return their bottles and receive a small refund. Bottles are recycled instead of going to a landfill. It matters because it reduces waste and protects the environment. Everyone can help protect the environment. Recycling small items makes a big difference. It is important to encourage public participation. A solution to this may be adding more return locations and educating people about recycling.
