The students at St.Ignatius College decided to do an awareness campaign within the Handaq industrial area to raise awareness about better way to dispose of waste. Information sheets were distributed by the EKoskola Committee members whereas the other students present (all Form 2 classes) sang songs for a better and healthier environment. The Qormi Local Council gave its support to the initiative by helping us in the promotion within the locality and by having the Mayor, Ms. Cutajar participate in the walk with the students.
