The world is affected by global warming. Changes in temperature affect many aspects of our lives. Natural Maltese ecosystems such as Chadwick Lakes are also affected by this concern. Such effects can cause droughts which are a threat to different species living in this valley, including the Maltese frog and the Maltese fresh water crab.

It is important to raise awareness on ways how to dispose of garbage properly. Just placing garbage bins is not enough the community need to be educated on the importance of using the bins; also, it is important to implement further enforcement.
