1. This broken piece of metal was found very close to some recycling bins so the fact that whoever was trying throw this away was too lazy too is very surprising. 2. This pipe was probably broken off as an act of some sort of vandalism of some builders left it behind and judging by the state of it its been there for a while.

This a plastic bag blown away until it landed on these harmless plants. It is doing quite a bit of damage since it is blocking out the sun and not allowing any plants to grow beneath. This bag while it seems harmless is damaging our environment so it is always best to throw this garbage away after its been used.

I chose waste disposal as my theme for my assignment because I am a environmentalist and I have always wanted not only to keep the environment clean but also to show people how I can shed light on this problem by using photography. My work is to show people how waste disposal is hurting not only us but also the world we live in. By myself using my own mother to symbolize mother nature while a person throws waste onto her will give the viewer a strong feel of human nature over shadowing nature.

The short film is about how the overdevelopment in Malta affects the daily routine of a young man. The amount of noise disrupts his daily life whether it be eating with his family, getting ready for the day ahead or just doing an errand. The problem of overdevelopment is so bad that it causes him stress and panic as he lies awake at night only to hear the sounds of construction echoing in his mind making him numb to his surroundings. He decides to get away from this craziness and chaos in the city and goes to the countryside where he finds peace and quiet. For a while, he has found a safe haven, until a construction crew worker comes and gives him a paper which lets him know that the property will be built on and that he must leave. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHP8LpOKp20
