In Malta, one can dispose of bulky household refuse at one of the ‘Civic Amenity Sites’ located around the island. Should this be inconvenient, one can call the local council and set an appointment for an employee of the Bulky Refuse Service to collect the refuse from one’s household. Both services are free of charge. However, some prefer to use neither. This photograph was taken in tal-‘Qrejten’, limits of Bahar ic-Caghaq.
