The peace and tranquillity of the sea shore is marred by the work of man. Although it’s a difficult task, given enough time nature will find a way to reverse the damage done.

The short article deals with how an enjoyable walk in the countryside can be ruined with broken signs, RTO and No Entry messages, unleashed dogs, and at time even ‘farmers’ who block the passage of the passers by. Is it really possible that the natural, undeveloped areas of the Maltese islands are private property? If so, why are they recommended as nature walks by the Malta Coastal Walk Book? What action should be taken by the authorities concerned?

This video is mainly promoting the fact that when people are more cautious and depose litter appropriately they are actually and indirectly using their money wisely. The problem of litter is truly a Maltese plague and people must realise that they are literally throwing away their money collected through taxes. In order to help the all students residing in Malta become more aware of this unbearable situation, we as form 4 Media Studies students at St Monica School B’Kara came up with this idea that once people realise that it’s all boils down to money unfortunately then they might do something about it.
