Coffee cups and fast food boxes are amongst the most common roadside litter found. The two tyres are just an addition to make the picture more real. The main problem is that most people tend to ignore litter and not bother to take action. It is wrong to think one is too small to make a difference. As Bette Reese said: “If you think that you are too small to be effective, you have never been in bed with a mosquito.” It is time to become active against litter. What are you waiting for?

Certain areas in different localities have always been prone to littering. Local councils have for long been trying hard to tackle this problem in various ways including setting up signs, promising fines, the revoking of the driving licence, and similar to discourage the improper disposal of waste. This however does not seem to be effective enough. One must not forget that what goes around comes around at the end of the day.

New technologies, modern gadgets and high standards of living indicate how advanced and developed the population is. When we’re discriminating we’re treating a person differently because of what they do, are or believe in. Religious discrimination is a big problem in our society. It has existed since a long time ago and has led to religious persecution. Even in a society where freedom of religion is a constitutional right there’s religious discrimination. But why, why do people choose not to accept different beliefs? Aren’t they normal like any other? So what if they believe in different entities? Let them believe in what they want. As long as they don’t hurt anyone, it isn’t a problem, right? Psychologists say that the solution to racism is the ‘enlightenment values’ which is the humankind’s release from its self-secured immaturity. Enlightenment is the process of undertaking to think for oneself, to employ and rely on one’s own intellectual capacities in determining on what to believe and how to act .
